1) For the Senior Backend Developer position:

• Strong background in Backend programming languages. Preferably Ruby, Nodejs, or Golang, but we're open to any language.
• 5+ years experience in building scalable distributed service and data-heavy features is a huge advantage
• 5+ years experience in consuming and developing RESTful APIs with micro-services architecture.
• Database design, performance tuning, and optimization (MySql, MariaDB, Postgresql)
• Experience with cache system (i.e. Memcached, Redis, etc)
• Familiarity with TDD and BDD concepts and how to use them to write code that is well tested
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

2) For the Junior Backend Developer position:

• Strong background in Backend programing languages. Preferably Ruby, Nodejs, or Golang, but we're open to any language.
• 3+ years experience in building scalable distributed service and data-heavy features is a huge advantage
• 3+ years experience on consuming and developing RESTful APIs with micro services

We're even more impressed if you have:

• DevOps mindset skills is a big plus
• Experience in building real-time data pipelines and streaming apps (AWS SQS, Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Experience in popular web front-end frameworks, like Backbone.js, AngularJS, and ReactJS
• Good English skill
