Arriving at work on time in the uniform provided, ensuring a neat and tidy appearance, according to the employee handbook.
Having a complete knowledge of the hotel product, including room types rates, relative features and facilities, food and beverage outlets/promotions, spa and fitness center.
Accomplishing special projects as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper.
Being available to handle situations which may develop and require immediate attention.
Having knowledge of all types of cleaning equipment and chemicals, ensuring proper levels of stock are maintained at all times.
Being willing to work on weekends and holidays.
Overseeing and ensuring thorough cleaning of entrances, lobby, function rooms, restaurants, restrooms and all guests and staff lounges.
Being able to exhibit strong supervisory skills.
Monitoring all furniture items in guest related areas. Reporting damages to the Senior Housekeeping Supervisor.
Managing any discrepancies.
Ensuring the proper cleaning of light fixtures and glass inside the lobby and mezzanine.
Ensuring proper maintenance of all floor surfaces.
Responsible for the accurate roster of all public area staffs according to the occupancy or functions.
Issuing all cleaning attendants with daily work schedules and make sure sequence is followed.
Responsible for communicating with engineering department on any problems or issues concerning the equipment that requires their assistance.
Ensuring that new employees are properly trained. Observing and guiding new employees to ensure that they carry out their duties properly and accurately and adhere to the rules and regulations of the department.
Ensuring that the assigned working hours and meal breaks are adhered to by themselves primarily and by the employees accordingly.
Document the ability and work performance of employees continually, informing the housekeeping manager/executive housekeeper if performance is not satisfactory.
Attending and participating in trainings and meetings as required.
Performing any duties as requested by the management.
Yêu Cầu Công Việc
At least Vocational diploma in any field
At least 2 year experience in housekeeping supervisory level
Good in inter-personality and supervisory skill
Proficiency in English and knowledge of computer
Good in driving results and people management, development
