Job Summary – (Role Summary)

The Spa Manager is responsible for the operation of the spa, ensuring that it achieves the highest levels of financial return and guest & employee satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities – (Key Activities of the role)

• Responsible for the set-up, management & operation of the Hotel Spa
• Conduct therapist training and set up the Spa Product and Operating Standards
• Encourage, motivate & lead a team of therapists & sales consultants to achieve outlet sales targets
• Monitor staff performance & review operation for improving service standard
• Handle daily operation issue, to ensure good customer experience & service standard.
• To perform sales consultations where required
• Design and implement the marketing strategic plans of the Spa
• Strengthen customer relationship and handling customer inquiry
• Demonstrates co-operation and trust with colleagues, supervisors, teams and across departments.

Human Resources responsibilities

• Assist in planning for future staffing needs
• Training of the Spa team (treatments, customer service)
• Prepares and administers induction program for new staff
• Assists in maintaining comprehensive, current and guest orientated set of departmental standards and procedures

Required Skills 

• Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
• Good writing skills
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office 
• Problem solving and organizational abilities

Qualifications

• Recognized Massage or Beauty Therapy qualifications 
• Spa Manager License or Trade License is mandatory
• Diploma/Degree holder in Business Administration or related discipline

Experience

• Experience in beauty salon development is an advantage
• 2 years related experience including 1 year experience in SPA operation, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
